About David Abrahams

 

I have been taking photographs for many years now.  Initially self taught, participation in courses at Belfast Exposed (BX) from 2007 helped establish my practice.

 

Participation in group exhibitions in the Futures Gallery at BX in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, brought into focus the possibilities of greater involvement in the photographic industry.

 

Now a Director at Belfast Exposed Photography since 2015, it has been a great privilege to be part of such a dynamic organisation. It is Northern Ireland’s principal gallery of contemporary photography, commissioning, publishing and showing work by artists and photographers from Northern Ireland and across the world.

 

Other creative work includes providing the lighting and set design for Lurig Drama Group
